Verisign’s Calling Name Service is Foundation of Permissions-based Communications

It will take at least two years for the real value of VeriSign's new Calling Name (CNAM) service for wireless carriers to be realized. Although incomplete, this new offering will serve as the foundation for more premium services from wireless
carriers and ultimately, it will provide the technical underpinnings for permissions-based, inbound call handling.
